There are days where you’ll want to give up. There are days where you won’t be able to find a reason to keep going, but keep reminding yourself that it’s okay to be in a dark place as long as you know that the sun eventually comes back around. Things won’t always be easy, but it’s up to us to make the most of whatever we have today, tomorrow, or next month. The things we think we need might not present themselves to us plainly, but maybe we aren’t looking hard enough in the places that we’ve taken for granted.

I really want to release a new excerpt from #JHAD or even make progress on it, but I got sick and so now I’m just trying to get through the day. Anybody else hate being sick? I honestly can’t get more than a few hours of deep sleep when I’m sick and it takes such a toll on my body.
I just want to sit in front of the computer without getting nauseous. Wish me luck my friends.

I just took the shortest but most refreshing trip back to the Bay Area. I honestly hadn’t been able to explore Northern California since I left college, but this time I was able to visit Marin County and San Francisco a lot more and I got so many great images 😭
I really can’t wait to share my new work with you all and I have new poems brewing in my mind already. It’s incredible what a little getaway can do to renew your creative spirit!
Also, on Jett & His Almost Deaths, I’ve written about two more chapters and I’ll be able to write the good stuff soon (the middle chapters of the book are feels on feels).
Bottleneck Dreams will be out within a few months, I haven’t decided when I want to make it available to the public yet! I kind of want to do a soft release with friends and family and some people of influence before doing a wide release. We shall see!
